NIS 21m contract is major for firm, which posted NIS 50m revenues for Jan-Sept '02
International Technologies (Lasers) (TASE: LASR ) today announced an NIS 21 million order for night fighting equipment, for supply during 2003.
The order was received through a subsidiary registered in the U.S., Lasers said. It also noted that its earnings from the deal would be in line with its average level of profitability.
For the first nine months of 2002, the company grossed 40.01% of revenues. This deal would therefore probably gross about that.
For the first three quarters of 2002, the company's revenues amounted to NIS 50 million, making the contract a substantial one.
Lasers reported netting NIS 1.1 million for the first nine months of 2002, compared with losing NIS 2.2 million in the parallel period of 2001. Its third-quarter net totaled NIS 650,000, against NIS 737,000 in the parallel quarter.
Its cash flow from operations came to NIS 26 million in the first nine months of 2002, compared with negative cash flow of NIS 18 million in the parallel.
